American Communists defend Chavez.

The American Communist Party NYC Chairperson, Elena Mora battles Neocons and absurd American TV hosts in a debate over Venezuela. It is not perhaps fantastic in itself, but it is more than interesting in relation to a specific mindset. The fanatical privatization model that the neocons are driving is in many ways ironic. While they claim nationalization (to be more exact: socializaton) is what will create the next crisis for the US, fueled by the pseudo-science of economics, the hunt for profit and the blindness of their own ideology.

On another, more internal note, I am happy to see the CPUSA move in a healthy direction with it's support of Venezuela. In the past there has been too much reminiscing about the Soviet Union and China.
